This weeks advice for doubles: don't underestimate the power of "ready position" at the net. Getting yourself into ready position prepares your mind for the upcoming point. It prepares your body for an explosive movement into the net, which is needed to end the point quickly. And, if you take a moment to jump up and down just before your partner or opponent is about to serve, then quickly bend your knees, lean forward slightly and grip the neck of your racket which is ready position, you can strike fear into the heart of your opponent. So don't forget to stay alert and assume the ready position before each point if you are returning in singles, or your partner is about to serve in doubles!
